艾琪（富田靖子 饰）是路易（陈小春 饰）在大陆唯一的亲戚，最近，因为相依为命的祖母去世，艾琪陷入了悲伤的低谷无法自拔，为了安慰和陪伴她，路易将艾琪接到了自己的家中同住。艾琪是个古怪的女孩，脑袋里装满了消极又怪异的奇思妙想，因为这性格，艾琪和路易以及路易那变性人母亲华姐（罗家英 饰）之间的关系十分紧张。
